All of your Luxury Multi-day wedding dreams captured around Europe

A multi-day wedding is a different kind of wedding entirely. You’re inviting your people into a week, or a long weekend, in a place that matters to you. The ceremony is only one chapter inside a much bigger story: the welcome dinner where someone tells a story you’d never heard about your partner, the morning everyone walks to the village bakery still half-asleep, the late-night swim that wasn’t on the schedule.

As a Multi-Day European Wedding Photographer, I’m drawn to celebrations that feel immersive, personal, and deeply connected to the people experiencing them. I’m a documentary wedding photographer based in the Netherlands, working with couples across Europe (occasionally further abroad). I love multi-day celebrations because the real story lives across those days, not just within the ceremony itself. By dinner on day one I’m no longer a stranger to your group and the photographs will reflect this, especially as the days go on. Guests usually forget I’m there after the first few hours. Guests settle in, people become comfortable around each other, and eventually most forget I’m even there. That intimacy changes everything. The photographs become less observational and more lived-in.

I work most often with US couples marrying in the Netherlands or Europe, and Dutch couples with mixed cultural backgrounds. What connects them is that they care more about how the week felt than about creating a perfectly polished production. Many couples tell me afterwards that I felt more like part of the group than a vendor. It’s not unusual for guests to assume I already know the couple personally. For me, that level of comfort is what makes the photographs feel truly personal.

We chose Meral after seeing her at work at a wedding where we were guests. Her storytelling style of photography really appealed to us. In addition, we immediately felt at ease that day and said to each other: when we get married we want Meral to take our photos. We have said to each other so many times over the past period that we could not have wished for a better photographer. Meral, thank you for everything!

“We’re not really fans of posing. With Meral, it turned out to be no obstacle at all.”

You know how couples want beautiful emotional memories, but don’t want to spend their whole wedding posing? That’s where I come in.
Whether you’re planning a multi-day wedding on a private yacht, an intimate destination wedding in Tuscany, Andalusia, or the South of France, or a city celebration in Amsterdam, I’m here as your destination wedding photographer to preserve not just the moments, but the essence of your day.

Meral!!! Yes!!! How AMAZING to see all these photos!! Oh, we are truly enjoying and crying tears of joy when we look at these images!! We are absolutely thrilled with the photos, and it’s exactly the style we were hoping for! We were also very impressed by how easily you blended in the wedding and we heard other guests say the same. We highly recommend hiring Meral for your wedding pictures.

I’m Meral. Intuitive and quick to read a room, so I blend in while catching the moments that matter.

Before I ever picked up a camera, I spent years as a psychologist learning to read a room, notice what people don’t say, and see what’s really there. That’s still what I do, but now with a camera in my hand.

If you’d rather be at your wedding than be directed through it, we’ll probably get along.

Most of my couples tell me they feel awkward being photographed. By the end of the wedding, almost all of them tell me they forgot I was there.

“Fantastic! Really stunning pictures! We are over the moon! Like we walked straight out of a magazine yet still so very us. We never imagined that it’d turn out this way. She captured everything and gave us more than we’d ever expected.”

Your guests are part of the story. Not just the styling.

The details matter and I’ll get them. But I’m watching for what happens between them: the conversation between you mom and mother-in-law. The friend laughing at something nobody else heard, your grandmother quietly taking it all in. That’s where the wedding actually lives.
